It was a cousin reunion Saturday.  They had counted down the days to seeing each other again, mine fully awake at 5 a.m. in anticipation of what was to come.

It was a hot one, so water was involved.  They packed in a full day of sprinkler fun, park play, flower shopping, cookie baking, a waterfall walk, and finally ice cream to end our time together and make the transfer.

We finished off the fenced in garden with two pots of flowers the girls picked for either side of the bench.  It’s always so hard to choose from this local shop owner down the street as he cares so well for all his plants, and has such a variety of loveliness, I am usually standing in confusion over what to pick, and wanting to take them all home with me.

This time, however, we kind of made a quick decision when I suspected we may end up with someone planting themselves in one of the flower pots with all the excitement there was to be choosing them together.  We went with pink and purple and made our escape without any mishaps.

And if I get my act together, I’ll show you the new garden plot gift hubby created for me by the end of the week!

White chocolate and pecans are a delicious combo together so be sure to try these featured cookies out.  I’m certain you can’t read the instructions on my pic of the recipe so click the link here from Food.com to find it online.

Happy Monday Make to y’all!
